Rawater R25 Pilothouse, originally named Aaltomarine A25 Cabin is the perfect multipurpose boat for almost any use: Go on an overnight trip or head out to the offshore for salmon trolling and spend unforgettable moments on the water. The boat has a large sheltered cabin with amenities but also a very large open space at the back where you can spend a variety of activities. Hull volume has been optimally used both in terms of stability and interior space.
This boat is suitable for use almost all year round and can also be driven in thin ice. The large front cabin is ideal for sleeping two adults and the driver’s cabin can also be used as an extra bed, so if the boating day stretches into the evening, you can also stay overnight in the boat without any extra mattress exercise. Optional diesel stove and water toilet add comfort on overnight trips. Make your morning coffee on the boat and enjoy the archipelago scenery in a warm cabin.
Durable and uncomplicated design and assembly, structure and facilities for its size, not forgetting excellent driving characteristics, guarantee carefree and safe boating years. We have a long and diverse experience in designing and building boats, so we have taken many things into account, such as ease of retrofitting. All systems are easily accessible even afterwards if you want to install accessories or perform maintenance and checks.
The hull is very stable and seaworthy and is designed specifically for the challenging and changing conditions of the archipelago. It has been tested in thorough sea trials over hundreds of hours of operation in various conditions.
The hull structure is designed according to demanding classification rules and can withstand even heavy use. The aluminium thickness of the bottom and sides is 5 mm, the transom and keel up to 12 mm. Similar thicknesses are only found on professional boats, but these guarantee that the hull can withstand even rough seas and beaching.
The stern swim platforms are wide and safe to walk on, and there are also convenient swim stairs under them, which are always out of the way when not needed but still easily and quickly accessible. The access from the swim platforms to the open space is through convenient and safe access doors. The sides of the open space are high and sheltered, ensuring that the passenger and cargo remain on board in all conditions.
The aft cockpit has an area of almost five square meters and includes large storage spaces with lockable and serialized latches under the deck and equipped with sturdy SS-gas springs. You can conveniently get all your belongings into the storage spaces, away from your feet rolling around. Various accessories can be attached to the D25 welded roof rails, such as rod tubes, work lights, a searchlight, antennas and much more. The rear open space has flip-up benches for two and can be expanded for a total of six people. The canopy available as an accessory can cover the entire rear open space, providing sheltered travel comfort. From the rear open space to the interior, you can access it through a stepless sliding door, which is easy and fast to use.
The standard interior features include large storage spaces, a suspended driver’s seat and comfortable passenger seats with mattresses. Four passengers can sit facing forward on the port side, behind the driver, and an additional seat, while the cabin offers fixed seating for a total of up to seven people. The steering console has place up to 2 pieces of 12” chart plotters. The sofa group on the port side converts into a dining area or a bed and also includes a sturdy table with stepless height adjustment and a cushion in the bed position as standard.
There is plenty of storage space in the interior for small items and numerous cup holders as standard. In addition, USB charging is available in connection with the sofa table, in the steering console and on the helmsman’s console.
The front deck has a large bow hatch, through which you can also pass through the boat if necessary.
The side decks are wide and easy to navigate and with them the boat can also be passed through from the outside from both sides. The side decks also have convenient folding bollards for attaching ropes and fenders.
The bow deck has sturdy welded railings for safe landing and boarding the boat, as well as sturdy welded grab bars on both sides and trailer hitch.
A sturdy and durable fender runs around the boat, which is also installed at the stern of the boat.
As an outboard engine, we recommend the proven 300 horsepower Suzuki (XXL), but if you wish, you can also choose a boat with XL-twin engines (2×150 or 2×200 hp), offering reliability on the open sea and on long journeys. The boat is always equipped with a reliable Seastar hydraulic steering system as standard. An external steering point is also available for the aft open space as an accessory.
The fuel system covers fixed aluminium tanks for both 245 liters of gasoline and 20 liters for diesel. Both systems include an external refueling point conveniently located at the stern and on the side deck, which can be reached also when towed on a trailer.
The standard 4 kW heating system covers the defrosting for the front and side windows and adjustable lower ventilation points for the main and front cabin. Heater includes also an effective ventilation feature that is particularly handy in hot conditions.
The electrical system includes a high-quality electrical system with dimmable LED lights as standard, automatic fuses, main switches for start & service and wide range of options for many optional accessories, such as radar, work lights, searchlight, pilot, and electrical readiness for the stove, so you can have extra accessories installed easily even later on. Isolators are standard, which charge the starter and the service battery while driving. The boat comes standard with two batteries, a separate battery for the outboard motor and a more powerful battery for the rest of the electrical system. The battery capacity can be easily expanded to up to two hundred ampere hours, which means that the capacity is sufficient for a long time even there is no external charging available. There is also plenty of space on the roof for solar panels.
